Exploring tide pools in Hawaii is like having a treasure hunt at the ocean’s edge. Maui offers several safe and protected tide pools to discover shells, rock formations and other ocean critters such as crabs, opae shrimp, sea cucumbers and tiny fish.
Many boats in Maalaea Harbor offer snorkeling trips, deep sea fishing, scuba diving, whale watches (in season), sunset cruises and more. If you’re headed to Molokini Crater and Turtle Town, Maalaea Harbor is a faster route than Lahaina Harbor.
Ali’i Kula Lavender Farm
