It’s Wild(Life) At Hyatt In Kaanapali

With more than 40 acres of lagoons, the Hyatt in Ka’anapali has created a tropical paradise for gorgeous birds. The entrance starts by the friendly black and white swans and penguins. The resort offers free wildlife tours on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays at 10:00 a.m.

Kahanu Garden

This National Tropical Botanical Garden is located on the road to Hana. This place has the largest collection of breadfruit trees and a large collection of botanical plants brought to Maui. The park also includes an ancient monument of King Pi’ilani. Self-guided tour and guided tours are offered.

Kula Botanical Gardens

This delightful botanical garden is located on the dry and temperate slopes of Haleakala. Enjoy varieties of protea, orchid, ginger, eucalyptus as well as amazing rock formations, a covered bridge, waterfalls, koi pond, aviary and a carved tiki exhibit.

Maui Golf and Sports Park

Amusement center featuring two 18-hole miniature golf courses, bumper boats, a rock climbing wall, a bungee trampoline, and also water activity for kids. The park is open every day from 10am to 5pm.

Maui Ocean Center

A state-of-the-art aquarium with an extraordinary view of Hawaii’s vast and beautiful undersea world. Located in Maalaea, about 6 miles from Kihei Bay Vista.

Maui Tropical Plantation

This 120-acre preserve is a working plantation, entertainment center and an amusing crash course in Hawaiian agriculture. Enjoy a guided tram ride through fields of sugar cane, pineapple, coffee, bananas, mangoes, papayas, avocado, star fruit and macadamia nuts. But that’s not all! Check out the chocolate and soap factory, champagne bar, ziplining, country store and much more.

O’o Farms

One of Maui’s most sustainably maintained and biodynamically cultivated produce farm can be found on eight pristine acres in Kula’s upcountry farming

community. Tour the farm, harvest fresh produce and enjoy it for lunch!
